Ronnie Nyles, who was Wisconsin Female Vocalist of the Year, likes to give back to her community and encourages her fans to do the same. On September 17th, 2005, her Fourth Annual Golf Outing at the Scenic View Country Club in Slinger, Wisconsin raised $2,667 for the Brain Injury Association of Wisconsin.

Ronnie chose BIAW, for the third year in a row, because, in her words: "BIAW not only helps survivors and their families with answers and support, BIAW also focuses on prevention. A brain injury can change the direction of a person's life and the family's life. There simply has to be a voice for prevention!"
The Ronnie Nyles Golf Outing has been an event that provides a day of fun for her fans and friends while also raising money for a good cause. Some of Ronnie's fans have shared with her how a brain injury affected their family and that they never knew about the Brain Injury Association before her golf outing. The outing has now done more than raise money; it has connected her fans to a resource for their families.
The BIAW Fell-owship consists of past BIAW board members who continue to work on fund-raising efforts for BIAW. It was formed in honor of Tom and Judy Fell, one of BIAW's founding families.
